How We Work
We don't try to set any hard and fast rules when it comes to client relationships. We do try to find the approach that's flexible enough to work for both of us, keeping an eye on what needs to get done. So we can accommodate most small and very large companies. In fact, we've been successful helping individual entrepreneurs as well as billion-dollar enterprises. We will usually ask for a single point of contact to keep communication to larger groups
of stakeholders easier for all of us.
What services do you provide?
We provide the Big 3 big picture services to our clients — strategic planning, brand architecture, and corporate communication. Naturally, this includes web work and social media because the Internet plays an important role
in virtually every business today. So whether you're a large enterprise with established products or a start-up introducing new ones, we can help you develop the integrated strategies and plans that every capitalist needs to
be successful.
What deliverables will I receive from you?
That depends on the project. For major brand and strategic overhauls deliverables could include the logo, wordmark, and detailed planning and implementation documentation. Smaller projects could range from a single web site with an SEO/SEM program component to a channel sales program with point-of-purchase signage and video presentations.
What is your fee structure?
Some projects are billed a flat fee only. Others may require a retainer plus a percentage of sales or an equity position in the client's company. We offer several fee arrangements to accommodate most clients' budgets.
What is the typical progression of a project?
A typical project can usually be segmented into the following stages: discovery meeting, proposal, retainer, business analysis, marketing plan, concept/design, implementation, feedback, and fine tuning the next steps.
This process holds true for most projects from classic brand development to integrated corporate and sales communications portfolios.
How long does your business relationship last with the client?
Time frames depend on the complexity and scope of the project as well as the needs of the client. But as a general rule, our initial discovery meeting with the client will usually result in enough information to determine what's necessary to move the project forward to completion. More aggressive client goals can require a 6- to 12-month commitment to reach the desired target.
